1. Enjoy a video
T: Boys and girls, do you still remember what we have learnt last class?
S: Cinderella...
T: Yes, Now let’s enjoy a video about Cinderella.
Step 2 Let’s review
1. Review the words.
T: Look, Cinderella is sweeping the floor at home. Can you read these words in rubbish to help her clean the house?
2. Retell the story
T: You’re so helpful! Cinderella is a poor girl. Do you remember what happened to her? Now please retell the story according to the key words.
Step 3 Grammar time
1. Read and find.
(1) A fairy comes.
(2) Cinderella puts on the new clothes and shoes.
(3) Cinderella has a good time at the party.
(4) The prince visits every house.
(5) Finally, Cinderella tries it on.
(6) It fits!

T: Look at this picture, how is Cinderella?
S: She is sad.
T: Yes, and a fairy comes. She says “Why are you so sad? How does Cinderella answer?
S: Because I can’t go to the party.
T: The fairy says “ Why can’t you go to the party?”
S: Cinderella answers Because I don’t have any nice clothes.
T: Look at the red words. We use why to ask reasons and we use because to answer.

Stepsister: And you have no nice clothes or shoes.
Cinderella:Oh, please. Let me go.
Where is the party?
Stepsister: Nobody can tell you. You can’t go.
Cinderella: What can I do? Who can help me?
Stepmother: Nobody can help you.
