二、教学目标:

知识目标

1. At the end of the class, the students will be able to read the new words of protect the earthfluently.

2. At the end of the class, the students will be able to read the wholestory time fluently, especially for the We should, We should not… We use..

1. At the end of the class, the students will be able to understand the sentences.‘We should and We should not and can use them to express their opinions about the earth.

2. At the end of the class, the students will be able to retell one of the stories.

1.At the end of the class, the students will be able to understand thatWe should protect the earthbecause earth is our mother.

2.At the end of the class, the students awareness ofprotect the earth should be aroused and do it in our daily life.

三、教学重难点

五、教学过程:

Step1 warm up

1.Enjoy and free talk 

T: Boys and girls, today will learn Unit7 Protect the earth.(学生跟读标题)

T:Look, what’s this?

Ss: It’s an earth.

T: What’s on the earth?

Ss:(brainstorming)

T: There are many things on the earth. We people are on the earth too. But our earth is crying.What’s the matter with our earth? Let’s watch a video.

Ss:...(earthquake, tsunami, collapse of housing, glacier melting, there is no food on the farm...

Step 2 Presentation

1.Watch and tick

T: Our earth is in danger. We should protect the earth. What should we do to protect the Earth?(Ss finish task 1)

Ss:...(Try to report their answers)

Save: We should not use too much. We use what we need.

Energy: There is many kinds of energy on the earth. Like coal, oil, natural gas and so on.

Plastic: There are many kinds of plastic things in our life. What are they?(学生说一说生活中的塑料制品)

2.Read and fill

T: We should save water, energy and trees. Why should we save them? Can you find a word? 

Ss: Because they are useful. 

T: What do we use them to do? Let’s open your books, read and fill.(Ss finish task 2)

T: Let’s share your answers with your deskmates.

3.Learn with me 

T: Let’s learn the article in details. First, learn with me.

 (课后反思:本堂课的情境化作业分为课堂作业和课后作业两个部分,课堂作业主要设计了两个任务,第一个任务是针对学生对课文总体的内容感知课文,对课文有个整体的了解,第二个任务是指导学生细读文章,对文章的重点内容和细节内容进行学习,并且填写句子,这两个任务对课文的学习十分重要,对学生的阅读习惯和阅读能力也起到了提升。课后作业设计了思维导图的形式,帮助学生总结课堂学习,也将图文的形式展现,能提高学生学习英语的兴趣。)
