本节课融合了四年级下 Unit 7 What’s the matter中sound time和绘本 The joke,进行教学。The Joke 是《丽声北极星自然拼读绘本》第三级中的一本故事类读物，介绍了一个饱含爱的家庭小故事。本文讲述喜欢恶作剧的乔布 Jobe，在生日这天，也收到了父母和他开的一个善意的玩笑。从情感态度看，Jobe 一直以来喜欢抱着取乐的心态搞恶作剧，却使得别人不舒服。生日这天，他也感受到了这种不舒服，父母给 Jobe 的这个善意的“生日恶作剧”其实是对他的教育，故事以美好的生日派对结尾，也体现了父母对孩子的爱、包容。绘本情节出人意料也引人思考，突出了“人与社会”的主题。

教学目标

1.学会尝试拼读含有字母组合o-e的单词。   

2.能够理解故事大意，朗读绘本文本。  

3.在故事语境中理解词汇joke, Jobe, hose, nose, rope, home, note, code，4.感知字母组合o-e的发音，并且能够拼读含有 o-e的单词。

5.学生能通过故事对play jokes一事进行批判性思考，以及感受Jobe父

母包含教育智慧的爱。

教学过程

Step 1 Warming up

1.Sing a phonics song. 复习拼读短元音o的单词。

帮助学生复习 o 字母单词的发音 /ɔ/

 Step2 Presentation

1.Listen to a song: Magic e.

帮助学生理解单词结尾不发音的 e，找到发音规律 ，学生能从 o 的单独发音转换到 o-e 的发音。

2.Try to read : hop hope nose  

通过已学进行新单词拼读尝试。

3. Join the words nose into a chant:

     Go home, Joe.

And show Rose your nose.

Teach the chant. Let the students say the sound of letter” o”.

Try to find the same letters in” home rose nose.”

4.Sing the song of “o-e”.

5.Try to read some new words that includes “o-e”.

6.Students get a present “a hot dog” cause of their good performance .

   Show the hot dog . let the student know it is just a joke.

引发学生思考，并导出玩笑 joke 这个单词。

Step 3 While reading

 Part 1 Cover reading  

1. Read the cover.

2. Lead the students to look at the pictures. And read the name of the boy and the setting of the story.  Guess what is the story about.

3. 引导学生观察封面图画内容，猜测该故事发生的地点，猜测故事讲什么。 jokes

Activity1

4. Guide the students to read from page3-6, and get the main idea that Jobe likes to play jokes on Mum, Dad and the cat using a bit of hose, a fake nose and a rope. （教学过程中利用聚焦功能，来展示妈妈的表情，让学生体会scared.）

Activity2 故事小剧场

5. Student read” joke hose, nose, rope” on the pad.(多媒体结合，学生通过pad上朗读，了解自己读音情况。)

6. Guide the students to play a short play about the story from page 3-6.

7. Invite some students to present their short play.

8. Say a rhyme.

Activity 3 阅读第二部分（7-12 页）+ 破译代码  

1. Guide the students to read and get the main idea. Today is Jobe’s birthday. And let students talk about their dreaming gifts, like this:  “I hope I can get…”

2. Lead the students to find that Jobe can’t find his Mum or Dad. Let students feel the bad feelings.

(鼓励学生用不同的语言描述乔布在生日当天没有找到爸爸和妈妈的伤心的心情，例如：sad, upset, unhappy)

3. Guide the students to decipher the code on pad.  

4. Finish reading the book.

（利用pad，引导学生根据乔布找到的书和便签破译代码，让学生体验破译成功的体验。也能更好的理解 code 这个单词的含义。设置小组破译代码的活动可锻炼学生思维能力，同时推动情节发展。.通过pad聚焦窗户，让学生猜测花园里正在发生的事情。）

6. Let students answer these questions: What do you learn from this story?

1. Listen and spell. (学生利用pad 听写hope home code note)

2. Retell the story.  

Step 4 Homework

1.Retell this story according to the mind map.

2.Extensive reading : The closed door
